VINZE'S FOCUS FOR 2008

READING ~ SUBTRACTION ~ SPELLING ~ WRITING

The boys can complete Brainpop and BrainpopJr quizes during their "off-time." If they turn in 10 quizes they get 1/2 day off school that day. Twenty quizes earns a full day off school. Quizes worth 10 points must have 7 or more correct. Quizes worth 5 points must have 3 or more correct. My theory is that there is learning happening no matter what the grade on the quizes. They watch a lesson in order to take the quiz and they are taking quizes over things that interest them.

Shelly @ 2:00 Consider AOP Placement for both boys to gauge knowledge retention.

8:00 Up ~ Take Dogs Outside for 45 minutes. Kazz, first 15 minutes, Brise get food and water, Vinze second 15 minutes, Brise 3rd 15 minutes. Kazz shower after his dog duty, Brise shower after Kazz, Vinze shower after breakfast.

Hi Nicky from New Zealand here again, I wondered if you could possibly email me and tell me how you find the Brainpop site, which plan is better for a multi age family, I am not sure if it would be worth it for the younger one or not, I hate wasting money lol. I have 14, 12 and 3 year olds, we are going to join Edhelper and possibly brainpop but the brainpop one is quite expensive to join as a homeschooler or did you just do the family one as I would prefer to pay a monthly. Thanks for all your help.
